Many of you will already know that @shinobi602 has been providing info on Horizon for a while. Three months ago, shinobi602 stated that the new game for PlayStation 4 from Guerrilla Games, apparently codenamed Horizon, would be an RPG with “some lush environments, robot dinos, other weird exotic creatures. Red headed female protagonist.”
Yesterday, two possible concept art appeared showing, precisely, some of those elements: robot dinos and the red headed female were present. Interesting.
Today, shinobi has talked again on NeoGaf, giving more alleged details. According to him, Guerrilla Games have been working on Horizon more than three years and the game will be a third person Open world RPG with a female protagonist. John Gonzales, lead writer of Fallout: New Vegas, will also be the lead writer in Horizon, and although the game will have co-op and multiplayer components, it will also feature a “dedicated single player.”
Furthermore, the open world seems to be comparable to The Witcher’s one and he hints “gorgeous landscapes, snowy tundras, jungles, vast savannahs. Cool weapons, villages and towns to encounter, “tribal” societies…gun b gud.” Swords will also be present in the game.
Shinobi states that the current plan is to reveal Horizon at E3 2015, although these leaks could force Sony to unveil the game soon.
But that is not all; he also hints another surprise: “Guerrilla isn’t the only first party Sony team working on an open world game anyway”
As if the above were not enough, a possible new concept art appeared today on the internet. Take a look:
As always, let’s wait until some official info, but… I’m lovin’ it.
