This November we will have a battle between two colossus: Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts. Analysts consider in their estimations that B4 could sell more than Call of Duty: Ghosts or the EA franchise could change the market in the following years with the next Battlefield games.

Battlefield 4 could join together 70 players or more in each game if this rumor is right. DICE is currently testing B4 multiplayer with more of 70 players. Officially this game supports 64 players on PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions. BF4central has received this rumor from the same source that told them upon Frostbite 3 in March.

This rumor is very reasonable if we think in two points. First, the new squad system has 5 players per squad, so if we have 32 players per team we would have 6 squads with 5 players and the remain one would have only 2 players. If they increase the number of players until 70, we will have 7 squads with 7 players for each faction. Moreover, 6 players more (three per team) wouldn’t destabilize the game. It’s not a huge change, it’s almost the same.

Thanks, BF4central.
