Everyone knows that the Dragon Quest Heroes games have been a complete success all over the world.

While the first game, Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below (PS4, PS3, PC) sold more than a million units, its sequel won the Gold Prize at PlayStation Awards 2016 (more than 500,000 copies sold in Japan and Asia.)

Therefore, it should be no surprise to anyone that Koei Tecmo Games director Tomohiko Sho may have hinted at the existence of a Dragon Quest Heroes III during a recent event.

Tomohiko Sho (Director): “I think we were able to get this result by having fun making the game, including development. (While sending a look to Square Enix producer Ryota Aomi) From here on as well… I accidentally said “from here on” but… well… it’s best if I didn’t say. ”

Ryota Aomi (Producer): “What, I’m going to make you stop saying such meaningful things!”

Stay tuned.
