Sony purchased Gaikai to offer PlayStation3/PlayStation2 content as a streaming service in Playstation 4 (it will be available in NA in 2014). Now Microsoft could be testing a similar solution to offer Xbox 360 content to the owners of its next generation console, Xbox One.
They are using one of the Xbox 360 flagship titles, Halo 4, to demonstrate the technology. Apparently the title is running on Windows PC (including Xbox 360 controller support) and Windows Phone devices with very good results. They have been able to reduce the latency just to 45 ms on a Lumia 520.
