Rumor: Resident Evil 7 development would have begun soon afterwards RE6 release

Resident Evil 7 could come back to the roots, at least if we believe Capcom. Resident Evil 6 was a controversial title, the critics didn’t reach a consensus and gamers flooded forums with different opinions about the latest RE iteration. Capcom will continue RE, but when will we play the next RE game?

Apparently Capcom could have started their work on Resident Evil 7 one month after the official release of RE6. According to a CV found in Linkedin, one worker from House of Moves (Motion Capture and Animation studio) would have taken part in RE7 as a costume designer. This is an extract from that CV:

House of Moves
November 2012 – January 2013 (3 months) Los Angeles
Costume Designer for the video game Resident Evil 7

What would you prefer a reboot for the series or RE7?

Thanks, Neo-GAF.

I would want a proper sequel to Resident Evil 4. RE5 failed to recapture the same atmosphere and RE6 failed in that regard and also messed up the mechanics.

Actually I’d say RE5 has a great atmosphere, at least up until you head off to the swamps. The opening in the village is very tense and even claustrophobic at parts.

It’s just the game completely ignores the interesting part and instead becomes a parody of itself once the enemy starts shooting back..

RE6 I’m not even gonna try to defend.

RE5 didnt fail you just hate it
RE6 WAs Good but not as 5 or 4

I liked Resident Evil 6, But i’d like a little more horror next time round. Keep the mechanics from 6, but the atmosphere and feel of code veronica.
