Sony Computer Entertainment seems to be planning something related with  Little Big Planet. In fact, we don’t know what Media Molecule is working on after releasing Tearaway on PS Vita, and now we have known that SCE filed two trademarks for “LBP” in the UK by the end of December.

However, there are some peculiarities. These two trademarks use acronyms as titles, which have been lately used for spin-offs or reboots. Maybe Sony is planning to develop a new game for PS Vita, or even a branded case for the hand-held system. Dualshockers even speculates with a multi-console game across Sony’s different platforms, hence the multiple trademarks.

The first trademark shows a description where we can read “game service provided as means of the internet,” which could match the already announced LittleBigPlanet Hub for PlayStation 3, but it’s still strange that this is trademarked as “LBP”.

The second trademark doesn’t fit LittleBigPlanet Hub, as it describes physical goods, including bags for handheld devices.

Sony has not yet made the slightest pronouncement on it, so let’s wait for some news.

Thanks, DualShockers.
