DirectX 10.1 isn’t next-gen … >_> WHY does Nintendo insist on calling it a next gen it’s on the same level (if not sometimes slightly better) than the Xbox360/PS3.

WiiU doesn’t even run CoD:BLOPS2 at 1080p NATIVE at a SOLID 60fps… it’s upscaled from 880×720 with an average of 44 FPS >_<. Considering that Xbox360 does the same upscaling with an overal FPS of 50 that's just wrong. They should of invested more in their hardware. 3core processor with JUST 1,25 GHz?!

Oh yes DirectX 10.1 what a joke. DirectX 11 is being used in PCs since 2011. Next step DirectX11 that will become the base design for games. In a year or 2 (2014-2015) the ONLY games NOT developed for DirectX11.1 will be WiiU …

I used to be a big nintendo fan. NES, SNES, Gamecube were AMAZING for their time. I just wish that they'd look at their competition and instead of giving gimmicky controllers they would USE the motion plus WITH a good hardware configuration like:

    4core 4ghz processor (maybe FX6xxxx series)

at least a heavily modified gtx550TI gpu or ati7850

    8gb ram 1600

    60-120 GB SSD

Now THAT would be the bare minimum for going full on DirectX11 games at over 60FPS with more AA and a decent upscaling if needed. Heck it could even run native 1080p at less demanding games. Could sell it for around 450 USD and include one Wii Motion Plus controller.
