Resident Evil 1 HD Remake surpassed one million of sold digital copies some weeks ago and Resident Evil Revelations 2 has sold enough to give benefits to Capcom, therefore, Resident Evil prints money and the Capsule Corporation could have started to develop Resident Evil 2 HD Remake.
Once the development of Revelations 2 has finished, Capcom could have greenlit RE 2 Remake to start the development soon in order to release the game in some point of Q4 2016.
That’s an unconfirmed rumor published by PSU, but I wish it were true.
