It seems we are going to see (and buy) a new console exclusively oriented to the digital market. At least, we will see it if we attend to the report on Thurrot, where we can read that Microsoft will launch a cheaper and disc-less Xbox One in 2019.

According to the site, this new model of Xbox One will lower the price due to the elimination of the BluRay drive and Microsoft will seek to put this new console on the market for $200 or less.

Furthermore, the company will start a disc-to-digital program that would turn your physical games into digital downloads. The site claims that you would be able to take your disc to a participating retailer (like the Microsoft store) and trade in your disc for a digital download.

Stay tuned.
