A job listing in search of an Unreal Engine 4 programmer revealed a few days ago that a “major company” that says it is a five-minute walk from Tamachi Station in Minato, Tokyo, (Bandai Namco completely fits here) is going to work on a “super famous robot game for PS4 (PS5) and PC.”
Obviously, if we hear Bandai Namco and “robot game” we all think about Gundam. In fact, last August the company posted another job listing seeking a programmer to work on an Unreal Engine 4-based “robot anime” game for PlayStation 4 and PC. The point here is that PlayStation 5 is now in the equation, so we can figure that this new game would be a cross-gen title.
