Nintendo introduced a new way to keep their customers informed: the Direct format. The big N has changed the traditional conferences for videos. Those videos are usually filled just with material and there are not transitions. Nintendo used to introduce new content during E3 days through a Direct, but this year everything could be different.

According to Venturebeat, Nintendo is informing their partners that they are not going to hold a Nintendo Direct in June. Situation is different and there are complications derivate from the work from home action implanted by Nintendo in their workers as an attempt to mitigate the advance of COVID-19. Therefore, the current situation would force Nintendo to redesign their schedule.

Nintendo could celebrate the Direct along the summer, but not necessarily during E3 days. Moreover, they informed in their latest Direct Mini that Due to COIVD-19 that releases dates and other info were subject to change.

Thanks, Venturebeat.
