That’s right, this time Insider Gaming and its sources leave no room for doubt: PlayStation 5 Pro is 100% real.
The website has published an article listing Sony’s timeline for its new hardware devices and, in passing, has updated information on some of them.
In the case of this PS5 Pro, as well as stating that the console exists with absolute certainty, they say that it is in development right now. The first prototype dev kits will arrive over the next two months to the first-party developers. Third-party studios will have to wait a little longer, as they estimate they will have these dev kits by the end of the year.
Either way, these timings indicate that developers will have plenty of time until PS5 Pro goes on sale, which -they state- could be late 2024 or early 2025.
