Reddit user seo00013 has discovered that the Destiny beta page on the official Japanese PlayStation site is announcing that Destiny beta will last ten days.
Closed Beta Test Period: Friday, July 18 (*Japan time), to Sunday, July 27.

Destiny beta for PlayStation users in North America and Europe will start on July 17, but we still don’t know if it will be closed on July 27.
