Phil Spencer stated some days ago that Microsoft could introduce new hardware improvements to Xbox One. Later, Spencer explained the situation and specified he was not referring to One. In that vein, Sony could be developing a new version of PS4.
According to Kotaku, Sony is developing a PS4.5. This upgraded PS4 would have a new GPU that would allow the system to run PS4 games at 4K and would enhance PlayStation VR titles with this extra horsepower.
Reportedly, Kotaku has confirmed this information from two independent sources.
If this info is true, we could lose the term “gen” and we would start a new age with evolve close systems from the same framework.
