We all know that Forza is one of the biggest Microsoft franchises. Forza Horizon 2 is just around the corner and will be launched later this year for X360 and Xbox One, but it seems that Microsoft has more surprises regarding the popular IP. The company recently registered a trademark for the name “Forza Hub” in the USPTO.
You can check the trademark here.
The trademark description reads as follows:
Entertainment services, namely, providing interactive, multiplayer game services for video games, namely, charting progress and accomplishments of users in a series of video games; providing information about video games; providing a web site featuring information in the field of video games; providing a web-based online portal in the field of video games
The trademark might be referring to a new application that would create a centralized hub for Forza games where players could consult all kind of information, statistics and more via Smartglass and other devices.
We will have to wait an official statement from Turn 10 about it.
Thanks, DualShockers.
