Resident Evil 7: back to the roots, blank slate, at E3 2016

Capcom hinted part of their plans for Resident Evil some weeks ago. In their latest financial report, the company defined the near future in the series as a “full-scale offensive for the second half of the year”. That sentence has the essence of Resident Evil 7.

Serkan Toto, an analyst specialized in the Japanese market, has dropped some details about Resident Evil 7. According to Toto, RE7 is currently in development, the game will go back to the horror roots and would be a blank state for the series.

Capcom could unveil the title at E3 2016 and Jordan Amaro (designer in Metal Gear Solid V and P.T.) is part of the development team.
