Yes, yesterday Jeff Grubb (well known to all) dropped the bomb and stated that Alan Wake 2 is being developed by Remedy Entertainment and will be published by Epic Games.
Jeff Grubb announced this bomb on his Twitch channel and, obviously, the impact of the news was enormous due to the affection that the gaming community has for the Alan Wake original game (Xbox 360, 2010). In fact, Jeff Grubb stated that Epic Games is switching its policy: they are now going to fund game development instead of investing in exclusivities.
The first Alan Wake game was published by Microsoft, but the Alan Wake IP remained with Remedy.
Stay tuned.
