Concord is likely to go down as one of the industry’s most notable flops—and perhaps one of Sony’s most high-profile failures. The game, developed by Firewalk Studios with a sizable budget, was pulled from stores and refunded to players just days after launch.
Now, a curious but mostly inconsequential leak has emerged: a pre-release version of the game has surfaced online. The build appears to date back around nine months before the game’s release.
This version boots up and displays a login screen that cannot be bypassed. However, by loading the .ini file, a developer access mode is enabled, revealing the hero selection screen—though characters cannot actually be selected. While it allows for some menu navigation and UI exploration, the game itself cannot be launched, which makes sense given its online nature.
Just another oddity in the strange path of Concord.
Thanks, VGC.
