Sega Virtua Fighter

A new Virtua Fighter was revealed at The Game Awards 2024, a series I didn’t expect to see return with a brand-new entry instead of yet another revision of the fifth installment.

Virtua Fighter 6 is being developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, best known for the Yakuza / Like a Dragon series. During CES 2025 we saw a few clips that weren’t actual gameplay, but now a video has leaked that includes a snippet of real in-game footage:

The video features a bilibili watermark — not to be confused with the well-known leaker who always spoils PS Plus lineups, but the Chinese social media platform. It looks real, but ever since AI made its way into our lives, it might not be.
