Recently we’ve been reading a lot of rumors about this: Quantic Dream is developing a Star Wars video game.
The rumors come from several sources independent of each other (VGC, DualShockers, and Kotaku), so, without having absolute certainty about the veracity, it’s at least worth talking about.
It seems that this Quantic Dream-developed Star Wars video game might be different from what we all imagine. The title won’t be the usual story-driven Quantic Dreams game. In fact, it could be based on action and feature an open world.
For this, the company would have given a lot of weight to Quantic Dream Montreal, which has been signing employees from Ubisoft, Warner Bros Montreal, or Eidos Montreal. All these companies have action-based games on their CV (Assassin’s Creed, Deus Ex or Tomb Raider, for example).
It is also surprising to learn that the game could have been in the works for about a year and a half at this point.
Stay tuned.
