Many of you will already know Dusk Golem, a good and reliable source when speaking of Capcom. A few hours ago, Dusk Golem tweeted about a new RE game, the unannounced Resident Evil Revelations 3.
According to Dusk Golem, the game has been in development for, practically, 4 years and will be released a year after Resident Evil Village. Apparently, Capcom does not want to eclipse RE 8 launch. However, RE Revelations 3 would be announced this year.
(1/2) This is not from me, but for the record, Revelations 3 is coming out within a year of Village’s release date, either late 2020 or early 2021. It probably won’t be called Rev 3, the name we know it as is “Resident Evil Outrage”, but it was Rev 3 at one point in dev at the https://t.co/LJOBkW7txr

It seems that Resident Evil Revelations 3 is internally known as RE Outrage. The final title is not clear yet, and Capcom could not use the Revelations subtitle, since the game is being developed as an AAA, with a similar budget to RE 8.
It’s had a higher budget and a lot more dev time than either Rev 1 or 2, for the record it’s been in dev for like 4 years & a budget closer to Village’s. I think they may not use the Rev name in part because of that.
It’ll be more like a Code Veronica tier title than anything https://t.co/WcaHcZVMZA

Finally, Dusk Golem states that Resident Evil Revelations 3 will be timed exclusive to Nintendo Switch.
Stay tuned.
