Ubisoft shared with us this week that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been delayed to March 2023. Moreover, we can say goodbye to Splinter Cell VR and Ghost Recon Frontline, because both games have been cancelled. And according to Kotaku, the company is developing two new Assassin’s Creed titles.
The first game, known internally as Project Rift, was born as DLC for Valhalla, but turned in a standalone game. This title has not been announced but has been delayed as well and Ubisoft defined it as “smaller unannounced premium game”.
The other Assassin’s Creed game is called Project Red and according to Jason Schreier, the title is part of Assassin’s Creed Infinity, the live service platform of Assassin’s Creed. Red could be set in Asia and Jeff Grubb specify that Japan is the place. A set long requested by fans.
We will see in September 10 on the next Ubisoft Forward.
Thanks, Kotaku.
