Sony registers 'Playstation TV'

Thanks to IGN reader StargamerX we know that Sony has submitted a trademark application for ‘PlayStation TV’. We don’t know any details yet, but all points to a service very similar to Netflix or HBOGo.

The trademark application was filed on June 26 of this year but back in 2006, Sony already filed this trademark, although the mark lapsed last year.
