By the beginning of 2020 we wrote about some rumors pointing that new Silent Hill games could be in development.

One of these games could be a Silent Hill soft reboot, but a few hours ago more rumors stated that this reboot could be, in fact, lead by very important names as Keiichiro Toyama (director and writer of the original 1999 Silent Hill) and Akira Yamaoka (composer for the majority of the franchise). Furthermore, Masahiro Ito (Silent Hill art director) and SIE Japan Studio (with, maybe, team members from “Project Siren”) could also be involved in the development.
This new Silent Hill game could be in development for a year now.

On the other hand, the second Silent Hill game could be the infamous Silent Hills from Hideo Kojima. Rumors state that Sony could have been mediating between Kojima and Konami in order to resume the project. Silent Hills was canned 5 years ago, but the famous PT demo is still very popular among gamers the and industry.

Stay tuned.
