More interesting rumors regarding Konami, Kojima and Sony.

According to different sites and sources, Sony could be interested in buying Metal Gear, Castlevania and Silent Hill IPs.

Before we go any further, we must note that the original info comes from an alleged Konami employee that posted it on 4chan a couple of months ago. However, due to its hypothetical impact, many websites with more credibility turned to their sources and the information could have been confirmed in the last few days. At least those sources could have confirmed Sony’s interest on the IPs.

However, take this with tons of salt.

Kojima would be, somehow, involved in the development of a new Silent Hill game, while he would also retake his role in the Metal Gear franchise.

Regarding Castlevania, the rumor points to a reboot by Japan Studio in the line of BloodBorne and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.
On a curious note, PS4 ports of both Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night and Castlevania: Rondo of Blood were internally developed by Sony.

Stay tuned.
