Wii U cuts its price unofficially (129€ Amazon.it), incoming price drop?

Amazon has been able to anticipate Nintendo in a feasible price drop for Wii U. Amazon offers to preorder the 8GB model of Wii U for 129€. That’s a cut of 62% respect the former price. This item will be available February 2014.

It could mean nothing, but this time, Amazon is offering this article directly and that’s a cut of a big magnitude, therefore it could be related with an official price drop of Wii U. Surely, a new price for Wii U could push its presence in the market and could compete with PS4 & One. At least it could draw the attention of certain part of the crowd.

If you haven’t got Wii U and you live in Europe, it could be a great opportunity to buy this machine. It’s a tempting price.

Thanks, Neo-GAF.

Epic FAIL news. It’s obviously not a price drop, it was just a couple of old white WiiUs being discounted. It literally was up for 5 minutes and then it was over.

This is simply them disposing of the model people wanted even less than they want WiiU in general.
