Assassin’s Creed and Prince of Persia (new millennia titles) owe a lot to Patrice Désilets. The creative left Ubisoft to work in 1666 Amsterdam for THQ. THQ closed down and Ubisoft bought THQ Montreal in an auction and Patrice came back to Ubisoft again. Time later, Désilets left Ubisoft in a decision made by the group unilaterally.
Some days ago, Patrice announced that Ubisoft has given he back the rights of 1666 Amsterdam. Right now, Patrice is working on Ancestors at Panache Digital Games.
1666 Amsterdam is a title with the vibe of Assassin’s Creed set in a world of dark magic. The following video shows the game when was a project in development for Xbox 360 and PS3.
