Continue reading to find out how you can follow the tournament and keep up to date with the action until the final event airs on November 22nd.

1. Television

If you are lucky enough to live in the United States, you can watch this year’s WSOP tournament from the comfort of your own home. The CBS Sports Network plans to broadcast up to 15 hours of the WSOP Main Event as well as 36 hours of additional coverage over 18 separate Gold Bracket events. The channel reached a multi-year agreement as the new home of the WSOP earlier this year, replacing ESPN as the latest official television broadcasting partner.

The CBS Sports Network, however, was the first television network to offer extensive coverage of the WSOP Main Event in the early 1970s. It also broadcasts a wide range of separate poker events throughout the year including the Super High Roller Bowl and the Poker Masters. The hotly anticipated Main Event will enjoy a staggered two-day start this year with the bulk of the action occurring on November 4th and 5th. The final table is currently scheduled for November 16th and 17th. Each event kicks off between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm and can last up to nine days in total.

2. Social media

As with any other major tournament, commentary from this year’s WSOP will be covered on social media by several sporting outlets in real-time. By tuning into Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or YouTube at any given time, you should be able to follow along with the day’s progress as if you were blessed with front-row tickets. A number of leading poker platforms, such as the https://ggpoker.co.uk platform, will also be providing live commentary of each event as it unfolds both on their website as well as on their dedicated social media accounts. By following the official WSOP Twitter account, you can find out exactly what is happening as it is happening live from the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. With social media now a key factor when it comes to live sporting events, a television is no longer a necessity to be able to follow along with the action.

3. Livestream

If you reside outside of the United States but still want to keep up with the daily drama of this year’s tournament, you may be able to livestream each event as it happens in real-time. A number of poker platforms are promising live coverage as well as daily livestreams so viewers can keep abreast of which players are on track for bracelets whenever or wherever they may be.

In the past, former WSOP tournaments have been livestreamed on Twitch and YouTube with these channels pulling in thousands of overseas viewers unable to tune in on the small screen. WSOP coverage is also expected to be livestreamed on ViacomCBS’s ParamountPlus streaming platform which launched in March this year.

The 2021 World Series of Poker tournament is set to get underway on 30th September. With the option to keep up to date with this year’s event by watching it on television, refreshing social media, and attending a livestream, you can watch live as this year’s standout players are crowned poker’s latest champions.
