Square Enix celebrated their financial briefing some days ago. In that event, the company summarized their forecasts for the current fiscal year. Moreover, Yosuke Matsude, president of the brand, promised “several titles” to be announced for the upcoming E3 2015.
During the financial briefing, Square showed the following slide about Rise of the Tomb Raider:
As you can see, Rise of the Tomb Raider appears listed just on its Xbox One version for the holiday season 2015. This movement could indicate that:
– Rise of the Tomb Raider has been cancelled on Xbox 360.
– Rise of the Tomb Raider will be delayed on Xbox 360 and just the One version would be available on holiday season 2015.
If Microsoft and Square delay that version, the company would follow the same strategy that they followed with TitanFall. Through that decision, Microsoft would compel players to acquire an Xbox One if they want to play Rise of the Tomb Raider on holiday 2015.
Thanks, DualShockers.
