Many of you will know that we’ve been hearing about Xbox ‘Maverick’, a disc-less console first unveiled at Thurrot.com, for some time now. This new Xbox One will be totally digital since it won’t have a disc drive.
Now, and according to Windows Central, we know that Xbox One S All-Digital will be unveiled next month and will be launched in May. Apparently, Microsoft is looking for a worldwide release set for May 7, 2019.
The info from this source suggests that the design of the Xbox One S All-Digital seems to be almost identical to the current Xbox One S but, obviously, without the optical drive and the eject button. Furthermore, Windows Central made a box-art mockup based on its info, when we can see that, apparently, this new Xbox One will come with a 1TB HDD and with Forza Horizon 3, Sea of Thieves, and Minecraft digital codes bundled into the box.
Lastly, it also seems that (as it’s been said other times) Xbox One S All-Digital edition will have the lowest recommended retail price (RRP) of all current Xbox One consoles.
Stay tuned.
