I must admit, I didn’t expect Bloober Team to pull off the Silent Hill 2 remake—but they impressed me. So much so, that I now trust them to potentially deliver a brand-new entry worthy of the franchise’s legacy.
A few weeks ago, it was announced that Bloober Team is also handling a remake of Silent Hill 1. According to AestheticGamer (aka Dusk Golem), development on the project may have started three years ago, with a release planned for 2027. He also mentions that Townfall is expected in 2026, and another unannounced project, internally labeled “Internal SH Game,” is scheduled for 2028.In summary:
- 2025: Silent Hill F
- 2026: Silent Hill Townfall
- 2027: Silent Hill 1 Remake
- 2028: Internal Silent Hill game
(1/2) Silent Hill 1 Remake as far as I know started dev around 3 years ago roughly.
If I had to take a guess at the Silent Hill game release schedule (all subject to change at the whims of game dev, Hell this whole OG plan was delayed by a couple years+f & Townfall switched https://t.co/wKPpXZGtSZ

If true, a 2027 launch seems perfectly reasonable.
We’re waiting for you, Harry.
Thanks, IG.
