We continue with information from last week’s Big Microsoft Leak.
This time we’re not writing a technical or similar post focused on the Xbox ecosystem, but instead, we’re focusing on one of the most important games of recent times: Red Dead Redemption 2.
Rockstar‘s game was released almost 5 years ago, in 2018, for PS4 and Xbox One, but we have never seen versions for the 9th generation of consoles.
Now we have a hint that Red Dead Redemption 2 could be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X thanks to some leaked internal Microsoft emails. The company, directly, lists RDR 2 “for gen9” consoles (XSX, PS5).
And that, seeing as the listing is quite detailed and accurate, gives us hope of seeing native versions of the game for the current generation.
However, Microsoft was expecting this version of RDR2 for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2023, so we have several options: the game has been canceled or, on the other hand, delayed for whatever reason.
Either way, we’ll have to stay tuned.
