Blizzard is working to innovate keeping the roots of Diablo with the fourth iteration. The game is in an advance state of development -at least for the Blizzard standards-. According to Windows Central Diablo 4 could be yours in April 2023 and the preorders will open in December.
Therefore, I suppose the game will be in The Game Awards to announce all the news about it.
