Microsoft gave us the megaton of this year. The company has acquired Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion. Phil Spencer has been promoted to CEO of Microsoft Gaming and the question is: what’s the deal with Bobby Kotick?
According to the press note issued by Microsoft, Kotick is still the CEO of Activision Blizzard and he will report directly to Spencer, but according to Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal, Kotick will leave Activision Blizzard once the deal with Microsoft is completed.
