Nintendo announced at E3 2013 that Mario Kart Wii U (or Mario Kart 8) won’t come this Holiday season, where Super Mario 3D World (among others) will be the biggest release for Nintendo’s newest console.
Wii U needs a release, a big one. Mario Kart Wii sold more than 30 millions of units and that’s the kind of game that Wii U needs… but we will have to wait a little more.
Nintendo announced the game coming in “Spring 2014”, but Twitter user DeSero has uploaded a pic from a, supposedly, recent Nintendo of Europe newsletter:
The capture (in Spanish and already removed) says that Mario Kart 8 will arrive to Wii U in April 2014.
Mario Kart Wii was released in April 2008. The info revealed in this slip up makes sense.
Thanks, Destructoid.
