The future could be different for the videogame industry. Maybe, we would not need a specific hardware to run games, just a high speed internet connection and a streaming service to provide us with tons of videogames. There is yet a long way until that scenario, but it’s feasible.

According Rumors, Microsoft could be developing their own streaming service. This unannounced tool would allow players to play Xbox 360 games on their browsers, games would be run at 60fps. Moreover, the same source claims that Microsoft is testing something with Xbox One games, but the whistleblower prefers to be cautious, because it could be something that never would be released.
