(Rumor) PS4 new firmware will feature Media Playback functions

Sony has still got a lot of work to do for the PS4’s firmware. For example, the company could add a real stand-by function, one where you will be able to resume your game exactly where you stopped it.

Aside from my personal appeals, Tidux, a well-known whistleblower insider, has detailed some points upon the new firmware for PS4:

PS4 will enjoy some Media Playback features already available on PS3.

This firmware should be announced before GamesCom 14.

PS3’s Media Playback features? I hope the MP3 support will be among the new goodies.
