Eurogamer dropped the bomb a few hours ago. As you may know, the gamer community has speculated for a long, long time about the next game by Rocksteady (developer of Batman Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight).
While all the rumours pointed to a new game in the Batman series, it seems that Rocksteady is, indeed, developing a Suicide Squad video game (back in time, we reported it was in development by WB. Montreal).
A list of leaked domain names appeared yesterday on Resetera and many of its users discovered that they were registered by a company connected to Warner Bros. “SuicideSquadGame.com” was one of the registered domains, but according to Eurogamer, “SuicideSquadKillTheJusticeLeague.com” could be the final title of this game.
On the other hand, “GothamKnightsGame.com” was also registered. Again, according to Eurogamer, this domain would be set for the new Batman title developed by Warner Bros. Montreal, the studio behind Batman: Arkham Origins.
Remember that Warner Bros. has been hyping us with many “Court of Owls” hints for more than a year.
These two new games could be teased at Warner Bros.’ upcoming DC Fandome event in August.
Stay tuned.
