We published one rumor about Call of Duty and Sledgehammer Games some time ago (that report pointed that Sledgehammer could be working on a new Call of Duty), but this time around the company has indirectly confirmed that development through a job offer posted in Linkedin.
In some way, it’s logical. Modern Warfare 3 was developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games, CoD: Ghosts has been developed by Infinity, Neversoft and Raven. Consequently, Sledgehammer should be working on something since Modern Warfare 3 release and that’s happened more of two years ago. If Sledgehammer replaces Treyarch, the company would have completed a development cycle of 3 years with this Call of Duty. Maybe it’s time to extend these cycles and give more oxygen at each group implicated in Call of Duty.
Thanks, Neo-GAF.
