Rumor: Square-Enix could be developing a new "Secret of Mana" title

The last time we saw a new “Secret of Mana” title was when Square-Enix released “Circle of Mana” in Japan only for iOS and Android back in March 2013. Before that, we have to go back to 2007, when the company released Heroes of Mana (Seiken Densetsu: Heroes of Mana) on Nintendo DS.

Thanks to a recently released Christmas Album, we know that Square Enix could be developing a new Mana title. This album features many tracks from several Square’s IP and includes a mention of Seiken Densetsu, the series’ Japanese name, labelled as “future project.”

Personally, I’d love to see a new Mana title… on consoles. I’m tired of mobile products.
