Microsoft has already released a number of titles on PS5, but there are still some highly anticipated ones left for Sony console users. Starfield could be next — or at least its announcement might be imminent.

According to PPE, the PS5 version of Bethesda’s game could be available in April 2026. The information reportedly comes from internal documentation belonging to one of the distributors.

Although there is no official confirmation, it is very possible that the PS5 version will include the long-awaited Starfield 2.0 update, which is expected to introduce major changes. This version was shown to the press months ago.

The rumored Switch 2 version has yet to appear, and it remains unclear whether it would launch alongside the PS5 version.

Today’s State of Play, which will run for over 60 minutes, could be the stage for its reveal.

Thanks, PPE.
