FromSoftware is a trend study since the release of Demon’s Souls in PS3 some years ago. The group led by Hidetaka Miyazaki has been polishing and expanding the base formula game by game until Elden Ring, the pinnacle in their career. A rumour published by Reuters claims that Elden Ring could reach mobile devices.

According to Reuters, Tencent has been working to adapt Elden Ring into a mobile version, the company acquired the licensing rights for Elden Ring in 2022 and created a team of 12 people to work on a prototype. Moreover, that year Tencent acquired 16% stake in the Kadokawa Corporation which holding owns FromSoftware.

The mobile version of Elden Ring could be a free-to-play game with in-app purchases like Genshin Impact as a difference of the premium game released by From. Do not expect to see something soon the development has been slow.
