We could be close to being able to play Tales of Xillia outside of a PlayStation system.
According to several Slovakian retailers, Tales of Xillia Remastered is on its way and will be coming to many platforms.
Of course, this is a rumor, Bandai Namco hasn’t announced anything (yet), but after the success of Tales of Arise this remaster is a good opportunity for the company to release one of its successful Tales of games for more platforms and more players.
Let’s remember: Tales of Xillia was released exclusively for PS3 in 2011 in Japan (2013 in the West). The game was well received, and a couple of years later had a sequel, but only PS3 owners were able to enjoy these games.
Now, according to the information appearing in these retailers, Tales of Xillia remastered will be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. A big improvement.
It’s worth noting that the covers on these retailers are a mockup between the original Tales of Xillia cover and the ‘Remastered’ that appeared on the ‘Tales of Symphonia Remastered’ cover. And, to be fair, the retailers warn that this is not the final box art.
Of course, the listings are now gone.
However… stay tuned!
