  • 2 GByte UMA, pushing for 4 GByte
  • 192 GByte/ sec non-coherent access for e.g. GPU
  • 12 GByte/ sec coherent access for CPU
  • >50% longer memory latency for CPU/ GPU compared to PC!!!
  • DXT is lowest bpp texture compression format

the new xbox looks just as expensive to make… so it will probably cost about the same… definitely won’t be as much of a discrepancy in the prices this time if these specs are right 🙂 and unless inflation gets even insaner i couldn’t imagine either going for more than 400 for the starter versions (if they still even pull that bs this time around)

well the new xbox cant play used games so u might as well start saving for the PS Orbis

  • hxc

nah dude they’re gonna use 64 bit 8×1.6ghz cores… that is pretty beast…

Pc’s will always be 10x the performance then consoles. With that performance boost also comes cost.Sony/MS cant use the best hardware on the market.I am glad to see Sony not holding back on the ram this go around.
