Steam Deck will have a strong competitor with Asus ROG Ally, a handheld PC able to run games at 1080p that uses Windows instead of a Linux alternative like Deck with SteamOS. According to Asus, ROG Ally will have a great performance in games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Forza Horizon 4 or GTA V, but the company still must detail the battery life and the price, but at least, The Verge has leaked the prices that ROG Ally will have.

  • Basic model of Asus ROG Ally: $599. AMD Z1, 16 GB RAM and 256 GB NVMe M.2.
  • Top model of Asus ROG Ally: $699. AMD Z1 Extreme, 16 GB RAM and 521 GB NVMe M.2.

I refresh part of the specifications: 7-inch screen up to show games at 1080p with 500 nits and a variable refresh rate of 120 Hz.
