Rumor: Borderlands 2 PlayStation Vita release date revealed

Sony announced Borderlands 2 for PlayStation Vita some months ago in the Gamescom event. Since then we haven’t heard many news about  the game. The one clear fact is that Borderlands 2 for PS Vita it’s coming out at some point in 2014. The game, developed by Galaxy Studios, will feature four player co-op.

This time the rumor is coming from the online retailer NewEgg.com that recently put up a product page for Borderlands 2 on PS Vita with a release date of Tuesday, March 18th, 2014 and a price of $39.99. You can check the product page here.

As you can see, the release date has been edited and now it shows a generic date (12/31/2014). The description is the same one as the other versions currently available, so we can’t know if this version will add new features or some DLC.
