A new registration upon Devil May Cry has emerged this week. Capcom registered something related with Devil May Cry two weeks ago, the trademark was submitted on 02-14-2014.

Let me start with the assumptions, Capcom could use this brand in this three scenarios:

1. DmC sequel, so DmC 2 would be in development.

2. DmC: Definitive Edition for PS4 and One. A Super Ultra Definition next-gen version of DmC at full price (yeah, that’s a hint for Square-Enix and their Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition).

3. Devil May Cry sequel aside DmC. Devil May Cry 5?

The logical step after the DmC reception, it would be a new Devil May Cry developed by Capcom. Although, sometimes in this business common sense is not the most common of the senses.
