Electronic Arts trademarks Desert Strike

Desert Strike was originally released in 1992. This game invited the player to move around the map in four directions and shoot enemies piloting an AH-64 Apache helicopter. Desert Strike was one of the best selling EA games of those years. Now, EA could resurrect the license.

EA has trademarked Desert Strike in the States. Indeed the company has filed two trademarks related with Desert Strike. Obviously, EA hasn’t made any announcement upon Desert Strike yet.

I would like to play a new Desert Strike, there aren’t’t a lot of options of that genre. It could have its place in this market.
