Many of you will already know Platinum Games, widely popular thanks to its creators, Atsushi Inaba (Viewtiful Joe) and Hideki Kamiya (Devil May Cry, Okami), and thanks to the video games developed during these years (Bayonetta, Vanquish, Astral Chain, etc).
A few hours ago, Platinum Games launched a website with the text “Platinum 4“. Obviously, it seems the company is teasing something, but we don’t have a clue about what could be.
Bayonetta 4 seems, clearly, impossible since they are still developing Bayonetta 3 (and we have not seen info for a while…). On the other hand, Metroid Prime 4, which could mean another collaboration with Nintendo, is currently being developed by Retro Studios.
The only hint we have is a tweet by Platinum Games official account showing what appeared to be a The Wonderful 101-related teaser.
Remember that Platinum Games received a capital investment from Tencent Holdings to expand into self-publishing.
