Sometimes developments could turn a game into a hell in the earth for the technology employed. We have the example of Bungie with Destiny of CD Projekt with Cyberpunk 2077 (among other factors).
Development of Halo Infinite was not easy and according to VGC and Jez Corden, 343i, the studio in charge of Halo, could be working to switch Halo to Unreal Engine. Jeremy Penter wrote the following about this matter:
